Our Commitment to Oral Health
Our mission is to improve the oral health of the residents throughout the regions we serve. Despite advances in dental care today however, many Americans lack access to dental care. In response to this crisis, we have:
- Established The Oral Health Foundation to award annual grants to organizations that are working towards reducing oral health disparities in minority and disadvantaged populations across Massachusetts.
- Participated in the Governor's Special Legislative Commision on oral health, studying racial and income disparities that impact oral health.
- Lobbied lawmakers to revise Medicaid reimbursements to dentists.
- Continued to focus on non-invasive, evidence-based care studies at our innovative Oral Health Center in Westborough, Massachusetts.
